How can I delete a teacher account?

Deleting a teacher will remove his or her profile and data permanently. This cannot be undone. If the deleted teacher has given any classes, this data will not be removed, but kept under the attended classes. To delete a teacher:

1. Go to Teachers
2. Click on the relevant teacher
3. Click Delete
4. Confirm by clicking Delete

The teacher has now been deleted.

Note: You won't be able to delete a teacher account if it is your own account or if you are a teacher and don't have assigned the extended or full permission.

What happens after removing a teacher account?

After removing a teacher account, the teacher will no longer have access to the account.

The teacher can no longer be selected for a class, this applies to classes in the past and present. The teacher can also not be added retroactively to a past class.

The schedule with all class data can no longer be exported from this teacher. If you want to keep this data, we advise you to do this export before removing the teacher account. Learn more about teacher exports.

The classes which were held by the teacher remain on the teacher's name (in the past), you can adjust future classes and add a new teacher to these classes if needed.
