With Momoyoga, you can create unique Events and sell tickets directly to your yogis. Whether you're organising a special workshop, retreat, or themed ceremonies, Events offer a fantastic, intuitive way to manage special bookings and payments separately from your regular classes, memberships, and passes.

With events, yogis can now purchase one or more tickets per booking, making it easy to attend together with friends, family, or as a group, while giving your studio more flexibility to organise a wider range of events, such as couples retreats or group experiences.

What are events in Momoyoga?

Events are one-time or multi-day online or in-person sessions that yogis can book separately from your regular classes. They offer a great way to widen your offerings, increase your revenue and connect with your yogis on a deeper level. 

You can use events for:

• Workshops
• Courses or trainings
• Retreats
• Ceremonies
• Special classes or themed sessions
• Any class, online or in-person, that you do not wish to include in your class pass or membership offerings

Each event has its own schedule, pricing, and ticket types.

How event ticket bookings work

When you create an event, you can add one or more ticket types. Ticket types are a great way to attract more yogis by offering something for every budget and preference. From discounted Early Bird deals to premium options with extras, they help you fill spots faster and add value to your offerings. 

Yogis can book and pay for these tickets through your schedule or booking page. 

Each ticket purchase:

• Reserves a spot in the event
• Is linked to a specific yogi
• Is included in your event overview and reports

Allow yogis to book multiple tickets per event

If your studio’s settings allow it, your yogis can choose how many tickets they wish to purchase when signing up for an event. 

This makes it easy to:

• Bring guests to an event
• Book for a group in one go
• Avoid multiple separate bookings

During checkout:

1. The yogi selects a ticket type 
2. They then choose the number of tickets they wish to purchase for that ticket type
3. The total price updates automatically
4. All tickets are confirmed in a single order
   
   

Yogis can purchase multiple tickets of the same ticket type in one booking. At the moment, it’s not possible to combine different ticket types within one booking. 

Set limits on ticket purchases per booking

You can decide how many tickets a yogi can purchase per ticket type.

To do this:

1. Create an event or go to your existing event
2. Select how yogis can book this event (one ticket type or multiple ticket types)
3. Tick the box “Limit spots per yogi” for that ticket type
   
   
4. Set the maximum number of tickets per yogi

This gives you full control over how many spots a yogi can purchase.
