Add event tickets

Events will now allow you to create a selection of ticket types from which your yogis can choose according to their budget and desires. From Early Bird to Regular tickets, from a Single Room to an outdoor Yurt, whatever your vision, Momoyoga's event ticket types are there to make it happen.

What should I use ticket types for?

Ticket types are a great way to attract more yogis by offering something for every budget and preference. From discounted Early Bird deals to premium options with extras, they help you fill spots faster and add value.

Here are some ideas to inspire you:

• Early Bird, Standard, and Late Bird tickets
• Sound Bath Ceremony tickets with tiered perks: no meals, lunch, lunch + dinner, or full lodging
• Accommodation options at a retreat: dorm bed, private room, or double room
• Front, middle, or back row seating for a Kirtan event
• Retreat tickets with optional travel, including shuttle service

Now that you know the options, let’s move on to how easy it is to set up your own event ticket types.

How to add multiple ticket types

Adding ticket types is the same as adding an event, only this time you will select multiple ticket types instead of just one ticket or having the event for free.

To add an Event with multiple ticket types, follow these steps:

1. Go to Events 
2. Select Add event          
3. Fill in the fields of your event as before. 
4. Fill in the ticket information for your event. You will have 3 choices choose from:
   Free registration
   One ticket type
   Multiple ticket types
5. Select Multiple ticket types. The following pop-up will appear:
   
6. Click Add ticket type
7. Another pop-up window will appear where you can enter your ticket details. You can also click “Show more settings" to add an image and description and the available quantity.
8. Click Save
9. Click Add Event once you're done with the other settings

You can continue this process as many times as you like by clicking on Add ticket type until you are satisfied with your list of ticket types for this event.

You will then have an overview of all available ticket types on the event profile, in the Tickets section.

Note: Adding multiple tickets is only available with Momoyoga's paid plans.

How will the tickets be shown? 

You can choose which event ticket type you would like to highlight by dragging it to the top of the list. You simply need to hover above the two lines on the left-hand side of your list and drag the ticket types in your order of preference.

How will the yogi see the tickets? 

If you have created multiple ticket types for this event, your yogis will see the price range for your tickets from lowest to highest (eg: 100€ - 200€), and can select View tickets to access the full list of available ticket types.

Selecting View tickets will take your yogis to a page displaying all available ticket types. If you've added images or descriptions, they'll appear here. Any end dates will be shown beneath the relevant ticket type.

When a yogi clicks on get ticket they’ll be taken to the final payment page to complete their purchase using their preferred payment method.

See which ticket types my yogis purchased for an event

It's very easy to check how many tickets you've sold for each of your ticket types, alongside the number of spots remaining for your event. 

You simply need to follow these steps:

1. Go to Events 
2. Select the event you wish to have insights for
3. In the top right-hand corner of your event, click on the drop-down arrow for Details. Here, you will have an overview of sold tickets for however many ticket types you created for this event
   
4. Below, you will find the number of overall spots available for the event alongside the participants list as per usual

Your yogis' purchased event ticket types will always appear in your Orders and Payments overview, as per usual. Here, you will see the name of the event and the name of the ticket type.

What is the difference between available spots and available quantity for event ticket types? 

Available spots refer to the total number of participants allowed for the event, based on mats, rooms, or venue size. Once these are filled, tickets can no longer be purchased. The available quantity per ticket type is how many times that specific ticket can be bought. It’s normal for these numbers to exceed total spots, since you can't predict which ticket type yogis will choose.

For example, you have 15 event spots and offer:

• 7 Early Bird tickets
• 15 Standard tickets
• 15 Late Bird tickets

You hope the 7 Early Birds sell first (they expire and are cheaper), but if not, you still want all 15 spots to be bookable via Standard or Late Bird options. Don’t worry, once all 15 spots are taken, all ticket types will automatically show as Sold out.
