How are events different from classes?

Thanks to Momoyoga's event feature, you can distinguish special workshops and gatherings from regular classes.

Visibility of the event 

Events will stand out more visually, highlighted by a surrounding banner with a beautiful image, making the theme of your retreat, workshop, or chosen event really pop.

Events require tickets for entry

Events will be sold through a ticketing system, enabling your yogis to gain access to your event without a membership or class pass, granting you more freedom and flexibility with passing-by yogis and one-time clients.

How to create an event

To create your first event, you can follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to Events 
  2. Fill in the event details 
  3. Set one or multiple ticket prices, or offer the event for free. Read more about the different event tickets.
  4. Add any important notes in the Comments section (e.g., "Don’t forget to bring a notebook and towel").
  5. Choose the visibility of your event 
  6. Click Add Event

Congratulations! You’ve now created an event.

Note: Adding multiple tickets is only available with Momoyoga's paid plans.

How to edit an event

With Momoyoga, you can edit your event to suit your studio's needs, eg: an Early Bird Price, and later adapt the price according to your Late Bird options.

  1. Go to Events
  2. Select the event you wish to edit
  3. Click Edit
  4. Make your modifications wherever necessary (name, description, ticket price, ticket name).
  5. Click Save

This newly updated information will apply to any yogis who purchase this event from now on.

How to duplicate an event

Managing repeat events should be quick and easy, no need to re-enter the same details every time. To save time and avoid errors, use the Duplicate feature to copy any event in just a few clicks!

  1. Go to Events
  2. Click the event you want to copy
  3. Click the Three dots in the top right
  4. Select Duplicate from the menu

A copy of the event will appear, just update the date, time, or any other details, then save. Done!

How to cancel an event

If you find yourself needing to cancel an event, or the yogi reaches out to cancel themselves. You can follow the steps below:

How can I cancel an event as an admin?

In case you need to cancel the event, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Events 
  2. Click on the event you want to cancel 
  3. Click on the 3 dots and select Edit
  4. Below you will find the option Delete 

Can you yogis cancel their event spot? 

No, yogis cannot cancel their own event ticket purchase. Events often have stricter terms and conditions, such as non-refundable early bird pricing or down payments. Only admins and teachers with extended access can remove a yogi from an event.

To remove a yogi from an event:

  1. Select the Event in question 
  2. Find the yogi’s name and click Cancel next to their name 
  3. Confirm by selecting Cancel Booking
Note: Canceling an event or a yogi’s booking does not automatically issue a refund. To refund a yogi, simply open their order under their name, and click Refund. Read more about event tickets.
